Koike Teppei in Dragon Zakura

I decided to first watch Dragon Zakura for Yamapi, but shortly after tuning into the series, I realized that Koike Teppei was also in there! And in a fairly large role, which just made it all the better.

I started really liking this actor while watching Gokusen 2, so, as you can imagine, my 'thing' for this actor just grew. Anyway, he's got one of the greatest smiles I've ever seen, so I figured I'd start him off with a great screen cap from Dragon Zakura to capture it in all its glory.

Genre: School / Drama
Role: Ogata Hideki - a guitar playing student who, though his grades have never been good, enters the special class aiming for Toudai (Tokyo University).

Oguri Shun in Hana Yori Dango

A fun couple of pictures this time around - and I had to grab two screen caps just to get the full effect. I always think that Oguri Shun looks so cute when I see him sleeping under his book.

Anyway, above are images of (as I mentioned above!) Oguri Shun as Hanazawa Rui in the Japanese drama Hana Yori Dango - right before he saves Tsukushi-chan from her attackers of the moment (which starts to become a hobby for our Ogurin). Not that it's a bad thing. I'm sure we all have dreams of a knight in shining armor.

Once again, I'd apologize for yet another school drama... but since it's filled with such great eye-candy, should I really be apologizing? I'll leave that one up to you all ;)

Role: Hanazawa Rui, one of the F4 that rule the school - an introverted rich guy that is the heir of a large company.

Yamashita Tomohisa in Dragon Zakura

So, I was listening to Colourful, which is one of the insert songs in the Dragon Zakura series. And hearing the voice (it's sung by Yamashita Tomohisa), it made me want to see the face to go along with the music. And hey, if I can enjoy some Yamapi, so should you all, ne?

Anyway... I've been into the 'school dramas' as of late, so yes, this is another picture from a school drama, but it's all good! Above is a screen cap that I grabbed while watching Dragon Zakura. Haven't watched it yet? What are you waiting for?! You're missing out. Really.

Role: Yajima Yuusuke - a student faced with money troubles, that is essentially 'bought' by the teacher to be a member in his new idea for a 'special class' that is aiming for Toudai (Tokyo University).

Matsumoto Jun from Gokusen

This is one of the first boys that really got me into the whole Japanese Drama scene (and keeps me coming back for more!). So, it only makes sense that he'd get his place on the Bishie Love Shrine! Plus, undoubtedly many more to come!

Above is a screen cap of Matsumoto Jun when he was in the series Gokusen. He would have been around 18 years old or so in real life during the filming of this series.
